I don't think kids have to be told how to make a mess, and they were "inspired" by the creek. My nieces took over my writing spot in the gazebo to create a mud pie factory. In a virtual world, it's nice to have real life connections. Spending time with "rosy" the cat, always cheers me on a cold day. I can't help thinking in that any remote setting, any intermittent connection feels a bit sporadic, like my vision is blurry, or it's a glitch and I can't see down the court. It feels more like I'm throwing a Hail Mary pass, and wonder if I can some of the magic of March madness or proverbial fairy dust. The internet seems like a black hole sometimes. 15 minutes breaks keep me warm with memories.
